This market is probably the largest open air market air the BigIsland, with all types of prepared foods a20131222 113459 resizednd even live music. 

The market is located on Highway 130 just past Maku’u Drive (HawaiianParadisePark) if you are arriving from the direction of Hilo. With plentiful parking and landscaped grounds , this market often hosts educational and community events. The market operates every Sunday, rain or shine, vendors are sheltered by a large complex of tarp structures. Official market hours are 8AM to 2 PM.
