Communication with your physicians has greatly improved over the years.  We are now able to email each other through relay health or the military system.  I must commend my father's physicians at Tripler Army Medical.  They will call him to follow up with his condition and to see how he is doing.  In the past, his doctor at Tripler called 3 days in a row to ensure my dad understood his diagnosis and options.  He also made sure that he spoke directly to me since I am his caregiver.  I am very impressed with the care and advice that we have received from Tripler.  I wanted to make this known since years prior my perception of Tripler was not very good due to the negative media they had received.
