Kalaeloa Announces Coral Crater Adventure Park
How exciting! Plans for a new adventure park in Kalaeloa in West Oahu! Coral Crater Adventure Park is now underway after more than three years of planning. Coral Crater LLC's James Owen recently signed a lease with Hunt Cos. for the new park. James Owen is the former President of Discover Hawaii Tours and one of the founding partners of The Groove Hawaii go-kart and entertainment park in Kakaako. The new adventure park will include a climbing wall, off-road rides and a zipline course. Guests will be able to repel off natural cliffs and a man-made climbing area. It will be very nature-like with a play-ground for children, huge picnic area, as well as a restaurant for those who'd like to opt for service. The bigger picture of this project is to create a growing, family-oriented community aimed towards kamaaina within the Kalaeloa region on the West Side of Oahu. I don't know about you, but I'm particularly excited about this because I have yet to try zip-lining, and where better to try it than in your own back yard?
