Island Living... Keiki Style

Growing up in Hawaii is really a special thing.  There are so many unique experiences that can only be had here! One of those experiences is camping at Namakanipaio (Bird Park) in Hawaii Volcano National Park.

This is a great campsite for the kids with tons of things to do.  With day hikes to the Tree Molds and finding Pele’s Hair along the way, playing King of the Hill on “The Hill”, campfires, S’mores, wood-carving, towering and fragrant eucalyptus trees, glow sticks, head lamps and going on a night hike to see the lava glow from the Halema’uma’u Crater, what’s not to love??  From the mountains to the ocean, Hawaii's great weather makes year-round outdoor camping possible.  Lucky we live Hawaii!
