Hawaii's 19th Annual Dragon Boat Festival is just around the corner! This Saturday, July 26th, Ala Moana Beach Park will host the exuberant pasttime that originated in China over 2,000 years ago as a way to protect Chinese fishing communities and ensure future prosperity. With 40+ teams participating, the all-day event begins at 9:00am and features dragonboat racing and a volleyball tournament.
