Wahiawa: Cool and Country

When I talk about Wahiawa, people's comments are cool and country.  Yes, it is definitely cooler than most parts of the island.  It is so refeshing to be outdoors when the sun is shining, however we do get our share of rain.  There is a lot of greenery in Wahiawa and even chickens running wild in the park (probably escapees from Peterson's Farm).  Residents are friendly and neighbors share their "crops".  It is a relaxing place to live and just a 30-minute drive from town when there is no traffic.
