Welcome to Wahiawa!

Welcome to Wahiawa!

I have fond memories of my childhood growing up in this cool and relaxed  town.  No A/C is needed here, maybe fans on some summer days. During the winter it gets a bit chilly even for the Wahiawa residents.  Believe it or not, there are some homes that have a fireplace.   And talk about rain, Wahiawa tops all areas on this island.  Agriculture thrives here, so it's no wonder that we have a Botanical Garden.   Lake Wilson is in Wahiawa.  Not sure what you can catch here but I’ve overheard mainlanders say that fishing is good here.  There is also a chicken farm called Peterson’s farm.  You can purchase a variety of eggs with a range of about 5 different sizes and brown or white shelled.  So if you are driving to the North Shore, make a side trip to Wahiawa and enjoy this little town.
