Big Island Hot Spots: Maku'u Farmers' Market

My next Big Island Hot Spot is definitely a trip to the Maku'u Farmer's Market (Flea Market).  Although, there is a great farmer's market attraction in Hilo, you must take a ride on the PUNA side and compare.  They are both great and yet very different.

Maku'u Farmer's Market is located off of
Kea'au Pahoa Hwy. 130 going toward Pahoa on your Left hand side.
Hours: Sunday's from10-2 PM.

It is full of many vendors selling produce, hand made crafts and vintage goods.  They also have Live Music and many Food Trucks and Specialty Food Booths.  Enjoy your meal under a beautiful Pavillion or under the Big Tent.  Enjoy from Papaya Thai Salads, Huli Huli Chicken, Mexican Entrees, Fresh Doughnut holes, or much more.  It is definitely worth a stop!  Also, there is LOTS of parking!
