Big Island Hot Spots: The Waikoloa Hilton
My next hot spot, another must see is Waikoloa Hilton located on the Hawaii Big Island. It is between Waimea and Kona and one of the greatest places to stay on the island.
It is definitely 5 star with all of the trimmings. Kamaaina's get a special rate and worth every penny. First, you enter through the grand entrance and are then greeted with a boat or a tram to take you to your rooms that are held in towers. I prefer the Ocean Tower.
There are several pools and activities throughout the grounds including swimming with dolphins, snorkeling in the lagoon and water slides. You have many restaurants to choose from and just a shuttle ride away is the Queen's shops with more spectacular restaurants and shopping. It is a MUST! Enjoy your stay.
