Choosing a Public School

Every district usually has public schools for children Pre-K thru 12th grade to attend. If you are considering a school outside of your district, you may request a Geographic Exception (GE). The principal of the desired school will review and approve or deny the request. Many times, due to high enrollment, GE's are denied. Preference is always given to families whose physical address is within the district. Go to DOE Website; school site locator tool, to find a list of public school in your neighborhood.
