Things to Know About Realtors and Rentals

The question was raised " Does the manager of my rental or vacation rental have to be a licensed Realtor ?" The answer is no, however, according to Hawaii State Law, chapter 467-1, the caretaker or custodian who handles a rental and is unlicensed may only be employed by a single owner. If anyone works in this capacity for multiple owners and is not licensed that person is in violation of State Law.
