Big Island Vacation "Hot Spots"

Hi there! My name is Carolyn Malina and I'm a Realtor Saleperson(RS) with The Big Island's Savio Realty-Pahoa.  In my free time, I love to venture around the island seeking out Hawaii's hidden gems, hoping to find "hot spots" and MUST SEE locales.

The first "hot spot" I'd like to share is the amazing Hapuna Prince Resort Hotel in Kawaiahae on the Big Island.  I recently had the luxury of staying there and it was spectacular! The resort offers guests a gigantic swimming pool measuring half the size of a football field and is situated on a gorgeous, secluded beach. After strolling past the Beach Tower Bar and picking up your towels, you'll find yourself surrounded by oversized umbrellas with lounge chairs and personal lounge tents overlooking the gorgeous beach views.  Next, cocktails anyone? Or perhaps a swim in water so refreshing and glass clear it feels like swimming in a photograph from a travel magazine?  My stay at the Hapuna Prince reminded me of how lucky I am to live in Hawaii.  It is truly paradise.

This photo was taken with my cell phone from the Ocean Resort Terrace Restaurant.  As you can see, it's loveliness is void of too many people or crowds. Speaking of Ocean Resort Terrace Restaurant, we had the Seafood Buffet with Prime Rib.  Our meal was indulgent with all the trimmings, and the dining room allows you stare out to the beautiful ocean.  The hotel offered several upscale and reasonable cafe's, lounge bars, and shopping was very nearby.

Our room had a bathroom built for Kings, it was about 10x20 ft. in size with a long granite-double sink, an oversized tub, a stand up shower, and a separate bathroom stall.  It was heavenly.  The sleeping area was decked out with the usual amenities and lots of room, opening up to a lanai that displayed amazing panoramic views.  The lanai was also equipped with lounge chairs for tanning, a dining table and a clothes rack to dry your swim wear.  Hapuna Prince was an absolute treasure and, for the experience you get, so worth the price of $159 per Night Kamaaina or $199 Non Resident.  Worth every Penny :)
