East Hawaii Happenings: Wednesday Night Market at Uncle Robert's
For many in Puna, Wednesday nights spent at Uncle Robert's have become a tradition.
Uncle Robert's enclave and Kava Bar can be found at the Kaimu end of the "Red Road", Hwy 137. Park along roadside at your risk, or extra parking for a nominal charge can be found in parking lots created atop the Pahoehoe lava on the makai (ocean side) at the road's end.
Dual attractions bring the crowds each Wednesday night: the Market which has a multitude of food offerings & unique wares created by artisans, and the Music featuring some of the best Hawaiian music to be found anywhere on the BigIsland. The spirit of a aloha is alive and well and can be experienced here every Wednesday evening!
