Hawaii County gun registration information. All firearms (pistols, rifles,and shotguns) manufactured after 1899 must be registered at any local Police station within 72 hours of its arrival within the State of Hawaii. This includes non-working collectors pieces but does not include black powder or muzzle-loader type weapons.
