Erminia Caracciolo (RA)
Biography
In 1969 I walked down the steps of my first Trans Pacific flight and onto Oahu. I was awed. The warm gentle breezes and swaying palm trees made me feel as though I had landed in Paradise. I attended classes at UH for a while and learned to surf. Life was wonderful for this 19 year old!
When it came time to return to the mainland, I began a career as a Realtor Associate in Iowa. I loved showing properties and working with buyers and sellers. It seemed as though I had found my niche... except that the Midwest was COLD. I dreamt of burning-hot white sands for eight winters until finally I packed up and returned to the islands. I always knew I would come back to Hawaii.
Experience
In 1981 Hawaii became my permanent home. Soon after, I was hired as the recreational director for the children on American Hawaii Cruise Lines. I married in 1984 and had our only child in 1986. When our son John started pre-school, I re-entered the workforce. This time, I signed on as an Account Executive for Hawaii Business Magazine. I enjoyed working with advertising and marketing in the 80s and early 90s.
By the mid 90s, I decided to put my cooking talents to the test and began a business called "Italian Sistahs" with (who else?) my sister, specializing in gourmet Italian-Hawaiian foods. By 2000, my hands were feeling the strain of the physical work. I decided to try my first love again -real estate.
In 2001 I studied, tested and received my Hawaii Real Estate License. I've been associated with Savio Realty Ltd. ever since, and I still get excited about selling properties! I have found the best place in the world to live and work.
Additional information
I love to hike and swim. I am a lector at my church, Star of the Sea, and I get involved in my community through volunteer opportunities. I love my work, and I look forward to many more years with Savio Realty Ltd.
