Kamehameha Schools to Develop Kakaako

Stanford Carr in association with mainland firm Gerding Edlen is set to develop a parcel in Kakaako for Kamehameha Schools. The development will be called Keauhou Lane. It will include mixed use rental apartments, lofts, townhomes, a high-rise tower and live/work space, retail shops and a grocery store. The project will be located on South street between Halekauwila street and Pohukaina street. There are plans in the works to connect this to the new rail system. Groundbreaking is slated in late 2014 to be completed in 2016.
