A couple of years ago my husband tore his ACL and had to have surgery. He was pretty active before the injury but his rehabilitation was not as quick as anticipated. After his physical therapy sessions ended he enrolled into HOPS Hawaii Optimal Performance and quickly gained back his strength and agility and even more. He is back to running, swimming, and strength exercise.
His physical therapist told him that medical insurances covers only to the point where you are functioning properly, but to gain the strength and agility you had before surgery one usually has to have more challenging exercises for greater results.
