Aloha! I have lived in the beautiful state of Hawaii since 1970. I hold a graduate degree from the American University in Washington D.C., School of Government and Public Administration. My previous work experience include social work, construction, and Government Service.

I have been in Real Estate since 1990 and during that time I have closed over 1,000 transactions. As a full-time agent, I have been trained to conduct the necessary research and have diligently pursued my education in this field to ensure that my abilities meet the highest standards. I have completed all the classes for the CCIM commercial designation and many other continuing education classes as well.

I have established close working relationships with lenders, escrow companies, surveyors, home inspectors, attorneys, planners and all the various experts who provide a service to property owners. In my duties on the Governmental Affairs Committee, I have personally met with the mayor and the County of Hawaii department heads. Meeting with the heads of the County Planning Department, Building, Real Property Tax Office, Department of Water, Public Works, HELCO, Highways and Wastewater was a wonderful opportunity to forge relationships that continue to be of immeasurable benefit.

I enjoy working with people, and bringing each transaction to a successful conclusion. I have been the Chairman of the Standard Forms Committee, the Caravan Committee, By-Laws Committee and the Governmental Affairs Committee for the Hawaii Island Board of Realtors. I currently serve as a member of the Governmental Affairs Committee.

Aloha! I grew up in the Bay Area of California. After watching too many walnut orchards plowed under to make way for development, I decided to head further west to the island of Maui. While visiting friends, I fell in love with the beautiful Big Island of Hawaii. I soon married a local girl and we now have three beautiful children.

Aloha! I have been a Big Island resident since the age of two and am at heart a “local girl”. Raised in Puna, I am a graduate of Pahoa High School and while I did attend college on the mainland in Texas, I knew I would always come back to the Big Island to live, work, and raise my family.

I have two beautiful children named Kiana and Kai. When I am not busy representing my clients, I am at the beach with my kids, enjoying this awesome place where we are so fortunate to live.

With a background in fine art and teaching, Michael has a passion to create. Making music, paintings, and drawings in his free time is essential to his heart. Cooking new dishes with locally sourced ingredients, many from his own yard, as well as from the local farmer’s markets during the many bountiful fruiting months. So many different varieties and tastes! Brewing kombucha is a serious passion of Michael’s as well. Using fresh jungle fruits to craft superb flavors of this 2000-year-old tea.

With an FAA Drone operator’s license and an art background, Michael loves helping clients capture stunning video footage of their homes, land, and estates. It’s been helpful with many of the properties as they often have acreage and beautiful jungle settings. It’s enjoyable to be able to see so much of the surrounding area and get an understanding of where we’re at in space. These videos continue through the interiors of the homes, and he also provides Matterport and a Zillow Specific 360-degree tours

Michael’s goal is to create a special experience for sellers to showcase their properties from an encompassing vantage point through photos, videos, and 360 tours. This process allows buyers to really get a sense of what living being in the home and residing on the land will be like. And through

these unique perspectives, a sense of place, a feeling of home.
