Golf in Hawaii is the best! There is sun and views of the ocean and you are playing in Hilo. If you’re lucky enough to be a bit older and a resident of the Big Isle, you can play in Hilo for only $35 a month and a dollar a play. If you play golf 20 times a month you cost is $55 for the month! Yes, that is the normal cost for one round of golf on the mainland, and not even half the fee when I used to play at Pebble Beach.
The fairways are long and green and filled with wonderful images of Hawaii. There are golf clubs for all kinds of players and tournament s round out the experience. If you like meeting new people or are new to the island, and you enjoy hearing great loca l stor ies, come play Muni in Hilo .
After 18 holes go to the lounge for a beer and enjoy the complimentary hors d’oeuvre (we call them pupus over here)!
