Another Big Island Hot Spot that is a hidden treasure is a place called King’s Landing in Keaukaha, Hilo. It is a beautiful beach right in Hilo. It was a little rough around the edges in the past and not the most inviting, but it has come a long way. County cleaned it up, added parking, trimmed trees and now it is full of people from all over the world. From locals to foreigners, setting up tents, BBQ’s and a walk in beach, which is pretty rare on the Big Island, not a bad way to spend a sunny day.
